Yesterday I had the opportunity to get out of the house to go to the movies. So we were driving down the road, intending to go see that movie with Goldie Han in it but instead we went to see Sweet Home Alabama. Being excited, for it was the first time in a while that I had gotten out , we sat in the seats and munched on concessions as the previews rolled. Sadly the previews were slightly more exciting than the movie. While the movie is very entertaining it lacked feeling. Towards the end of the movie you feel so muddled by Reeses complete indecision that you nearly lose faith in the plot. It all boils down to a familiar story book ending with Reese for some reason picking the country boy for her husband although theyd been married the entire movie anyway. It was a sad ending for a sad movie, sad meaning pathetic in its attempt at injecting some feeling into the movie. Luckily though the most entertaining part of the movie came when Reese punched out the city boys overbearing mother which brought a few well meaning chuckles to most of the audience. Nevertheless though, I would recommend this movie to everyone
